Description: Buckfast Abbey.
For nearly 1000 years there has been an Abbey at this site. The present Abbey has been rebuilt this century on the original medieval foundations. Four devoted monks did the rebuilding over 32 years.
This is a beautiful place to visit in every sense of the word.
Close by is the village of Holne and the Reservoir at Venford.
